Introduction

The Light That Connects All Things was an exhibition design and sculptural piece made for the exhibition “Through A Glass, Darkly” at the Kenny Schachter Rove Gallery in Hoxton Square, London. The design uses light as its primary material, creating slices through the darkness of the space. The visitor enters directly into the centre of the space: a dark star punctuated by narrow openings that reveal an overwhelming brightness beyond. Works of art fill the outer spaces, but the presence of the central darkness makes itself always felt as it pushes into and forms the space around it.
